Lawrence C. Manning, Jr., CFA

Mr. Manning is Senior Vice President at Boston Advisors, a boutique investment management firm that provides custom institutional and private wealth investment management services. Prior to joining Boston Advisors, Mr. Manning was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Babson United, overseeing the equity research team, chairing the Investment Committee and publishing articles in the firm's newsletter. Before Babson, Mr. Manning was Vice President and Financial Consultant for Cadaret, Grant & Company/HMS Financial Group, where he was responsible for preparing comprehensive financial plans, including investment and insurance advice, for individuals and small businesses. Mr. Manning began his career at John Magee, Inc., as a Technical Equity Analyst and contributing editor for the company's newsletter.
Mr. Manning earned a B.A. degree in business and economics from Saint Anselm College, and an M.S.F. degree from Bentley University, where he subsequently taught international finance as an adjunct professor at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Mr. Manning holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute.
Lauren Lambert, CFA

Ms. Lambert is a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Private Advisory Group of Boston Advisors. She works with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, endowments and not-for-profit organizations with portfolios ranging from $1 million to over $50 million. Ms. Lambert draws on more than 25 years of Wall Street experience as an analyst, portfolio manager and director of research. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, she headed a wealth management consultancy, Guilder Group LLC, working with private clients on asset allocation and selecting, evaluating and managing their financial advisors. Ms. Lambert has also served as Senior Portfolio Manager with AllianceBernstein and held the role of Director of Research for Non-US Equities at Bessemer Trust. Prior to Bessemer, Ms. Lambert was a Portfolio Manager for European Equities at Clay Finlay, Inc., and served as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager with Scudder Stevens & Clark and its successor companies. Ms. Lambert began her career in equity research, with roles at US Trust Company of New York and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Ms. Lambert earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in economics from New York University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She is a member of the CFA Institute, 100 Women in Finance, the Golden Seeds angel-investor network and the Massachusetts Committee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
Keith E. Faulkner
Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager
Mr. Faulkner is Senior Vice President at Boston Advisors. Mr. Faulkner serves as co-portfolio manager on the firm's Dividend Growth equity strategy. On the private advisory side of the business, Mr. Faulkner provides comprehensive portfolio management services to high-net-worth individuals, families, estates and endowment investors. Prior to joining Boston Advisors, Mr. Faulkner was an assistant manager at Brown Brothers Harriman & Company, where he was responsible for managing relationships with several large institutional clients. He was instrumental in maintaining a consistent level of service between the U.S. and offshore offices during a special assignment in Brown Brothers' Luxembourg offices.
Mr. Faulkner is a graduate of the Sawyer Business School of Suffolk University where he earned an M.B.A. degree. He holds a B.A. degree in psychology from Framingham State University.
Michael J. Vogelzang, CFA
President & Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Vogelzang is President and Chief Investment Officer of Boston Advisors. Mr. Vogelzang has managed Boston Advisors since 1997 and led the firm's management buyout in 2006. As President and CIO, he is responsible for overseeing the firm's equity, fixed-income and alternative investment activities, risk management strategy and general business practices. Professionally, Mr. Vogelzang served as the President and Trustee of the multi-billion dollar Boston Advisors Trust, a family of money market mutual funds. He also held the role of President of the Lebenthal Funds, a taxable and tax-exempt family of long-term bond funds. He served as a board member for Advest, Inc., the one-time parent company of Boston Advisors. Prior to joining Boston Advisors, Mr. Vogelzang held senior positions with Freedom Capital Management and Shawmut Investment Management, and he began his investment career at The Boston Company.
Mr. Vogelzang chairs the investment committee of the Barnabas Foundation, a large, Chicago-based, planned giving and estate planning charitable organization, investing on behalf of faith-based organizations. Mr. Vogelzang earned a B.A. degree in economics and political science from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and attended Boston University's Graduate School of Management. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society Boston. As an investment strategist, he is frequently invited to speak at industry conferences, interview in the financial media and contribute articles to portfolio management journals.
John H. Peterson

Prior to joining Boston Advisors, Mr. Peterson was a Portfolio Manager with Rockland Trust Company, following his work as a Business Development Officer with the firm. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Mr. Peterson served as Vice President of Business Development with Babson-United Investment Advisors. Prior to joining Babson-United, Mr. Peterson was a Financial Advisor with Paine Webber.
Mr. Peterson is a graduate of the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University where he earned a M.B.A. degree. He also holds a B.A. degree in history from Saint Anselm College. John is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and an associate member of the CFA Institute.
Steven M. Esielonis

Steve brings over thirty years of investment experience, having worked at State Street Global Advisors, U.S. Trust and TD Wealth Management. As a portfolio manager, he successfully managed publically traded mutual funds and was a Partner at Concordia Capital Associates where he managed its global growth long/short strategy. He has extensive experience working with individuals and families, developing and managing financial plans.
Mr. Esielonis earned a MBA from Boston University Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from Saint Anselm College.

Ms. Stewart's mission is to help clients understand and protect their wealth and grow their investments according to their specific goals and objectives. She begins with a detailed analysis of each client's financial situation, evaluating their assets, liabilities, estate plan and trust holdings. With this information she designs an overall asset management strategy and action plan (inclusive of an investment policy) that is consistent with the client's needs and philosophy. The plan defines the overall asset allocation for the client portfolio as well as any income and liquidity needs.
Ms. Stewart draws on more than 20 years of experience as a private client investment manager. Prior to joining the firm in September of 2016, she was a Senior Wealth Manager at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, responsible for $300 million in private client, trust and non-profit assets. Ms. Stewart also served as a Principal at Shepherd Kaplan LLC, and held the role of Director of Private Banking at Wainwright Bank & Trust Company. Prior to Wainwright, Ms. Stewart was a Vice President and Senior Account Manager at Gannett, Welsh & Kotler and served as a Vice President at Fleet Investment Advisors. Ms. Stewart began her investment management career as an institutional sales and client service officer at Putnam Investments.
Ms. Stewart earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Maine. She sits on several non-profit boards and is currently a member of the Dean's Advisory Board at the University of Maine Business School. Kris and her husband Rick have two daughters and currently reside in Dover, MA.
Eric Eaton, CFA, CPA
Portfolio Manager & Equity Analyst
Mr. Eaton is a Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst at Boston Advisors. In his role as a Portfolio Manager, Mr. Eaton is the lead manager on the firm's Private Advisory Equity Income strategy and collaborates with the large cap team as a contributing member to the Institutional Large Cap Value strategy. As an Equity Analyst, Mr. Eaton is a member of the institutional equity investment team, conducting fundamental research with primary coverage of the financials, industrials and energy sectors, identifying industry-level trends that generate actionable investment ideas.
Mr. Eaton joined Boston Advisors in 2011 as an analyst for the Institutional Team. In this role, he was responsible for in-depth equity research, attribution analysis for institutional products and ad hoc research projects. In 2014, Mr. Eaton managed the Small Cap Growth strategy. After taking a brief hiatus for business school, Mr. Eaton rejoined the firm in 2016, leading the integration efforts for the acquisition of Weyland Capital Management. Most recently, Mr. Eaton was the lead portfolio manager for the Global Tactical Asset Allocation (GTAA) strategy; his role included research in macroeconomic and market trends and assisting in the asset allocation strategy for the firm.
Mr. Eaton earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He also holds an MS in Finance from Bentley University and a BA in Economics and Accounting from Gordon College. Mr. Eaton holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute. He also holds a CPA license in the state of Massachusetts.

Prior to joining Boston Advisors in 2016, Mr. Collins was a Senior Investment Officer at Northern Trust where he delivered investment solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations. He also served as an Associate at Acadian Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors where he worked with institutional clients, specializing in analyzing comprehensive portfolio data for equity and fixed-income products.
Mr. Collins earned a Master's degree in Finance from Suffolk University. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Collins is an adjunct professor, teaching investment classes at Suffolk University and Bunker Hill Community College. He is currently a level three Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate.
Christopher Grogan, CFA

As an Associate Portfolio Manager, Mr. Grogan is a member of the firm's Private Advisory Group. Prior to joining Boston Advisors, Mr. Grogan spent two years at Raymond James Financial Services as a Financial Planning Analyst, modeling and illustrating comprehensive financial plans for private wealth clients. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Grogan interned for State Street Corporation within their Structured Products group.
Mr. Grogan graduated from Gordon College in 2012 with a B.A. in both Finance and Economics. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute.
Ms. Taloumis works for Boston Advisors as a Portfolio Analyst for the Private Advisory Group. Ms. Taloumis graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts in 2011 with a B.A. in Finance and a minor in Economics. She is currently a level three Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate.
